ingredients & substitutions
Everything Bagel: The base of my air fryer egg in a hole bagel recipe! The idea here is that you don’t have to cut the hole out of the bread as in a traditional egg in a hole.
Eggs: I use whole eggs or egg whites. Use vegan egg substitutes for a vegan air fryer egg in a hole recipe.
Cheddar Cheese: Cheddar is my favorit here but american cheese works great too! Craving a different flavor? Swap in crumbled feta, Monterey Jack, or even goat cheese.
Chili Onion Oil: A fun chili and onion flavor. I’m obsessed with the one from trader joes. Use regular olive oil or a drizzle of hot honey for another sauce option.
