I love these buffalo chicken strombolis because they are easy to make into large party appetizer sizes, or even smaller personal sizes. They are the perfect comfort food that everyone will love.

Pizza Dough

For this stromboli recipe you can use any pizza dough you have. I use trader joes gluten free pizza dough or wholly gluten free pizza dough. Both are gluten free and roll out nicely with a rolling pin. If you are not gluten free you can use any pizza dough you want. Feel free to even call your local pizza shop too! They usually sell dough that isnt rolled out yet!

Mozzarella Cheese

For this stromboli recipe you can use either shredded or sliced mozzarella. To make this buffalo chicken stromboli recipe dairy free, use vegan or dairy free cheese. To make this stromboli recipe low in fat, use low fat, lite or fat free cheese.

Chicken Fingers

This buffalo chicken stromboli recipe is an easy recipe because it uses chicken fingers instead of having the chicken cutlets made from scratch. I used gluten free chicken fingers. I find the trader joes or perdu gluten free chicken fingers are the best. To make this a healthier, lower carb option use grilled chicken or shredded chicken.

Buffalo Sauce

This buffalo chicken stromboli obviously uses buffalo sauce! To make this recipe dairy free make sure to use dairy free or vegan buffalo sauce. Make this buffalo chicken stromboli recipe spicier by using more buffalo sauce. To make this stromboli recipe milder, use less buffalo sauce.

These buffalo chicken strombolis are spicy, and filled with buffalo flavor. Once baked, the dough gets crispy around the edges and chewy in the center. The strombolis are filled with oozing, melted cheese.

Roll out the dough with a rolling pin as thin as you can. Sprinkle gluten free flour over the top of the dough if it is sticking to the pin.

Top the dough with cheese, chicken fingers (should be room temp), and buffalo sauce.

Roll the dough into a log. Make sure to tuck the ends in so no cheese comes out!

Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

  • 3/4 cup buffalo sauce dairy free if needed

Instructions

  • Roll out the dough with a rolling pin as thin as you can. Sprinkle gluten free flour over the top of the dough if it is sticking to the pin.
  • Air fry the chicken fingers until crispy and cooked.
  • Top the dough with cheese, chicken fingers (should be cooked or room temp, not frozen or raw), and buffalo sauce.
  • Roll the dough into a log. Make sure to tuck the ends in so no cheese comes out!
  • Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
