Ingredients and substitutions
Gluten free wrap: I try to choose soft, flexible gluten free wraps that don’t crack when rolling.
Gluten free chicken tenders: Any brand will do for this Green Goddess Wrap. Air frying or baking both work, as long as they come out crispy!
Lettuce: Wash and dry your lettuce well. I love a mix of crunchy leaves.
Tomato slices: Choose ripe but not overly juicy tomatoes.
Turkey bacon : Go for crispy, cooked turkey bacon. You can use regular bacon if you like.
For the dressing
Avocado : Choose super ripe avos so that your base is lovely and silky. Buy ripe avocados or purchase them 3-4 days in advance and let them ripen at home.
Oat milk (or milk of choice): Any milk will do, I just love working with oat milk.
Dairy-free yogurt (or regular): Coconut or almond-based yogurt is great if you’re dairy free. Otherwise, Greek yogurt is perfect.
Fresh chives and parsley: For herby goodness.
Salt and pepper: Season and taste before you use the dressing.
Directions (step by step)
Prepare the green goddess dressing: Into a blender jug, add the avo, milk, herbs, salt, pepper and yogurt. Blend the dressing until creamy and smooth. Season to taste.
Cook the chicken and bacon: Cook them until crunchy. Cook in the air fryer or in the oven.
Assemble the wrap: To build the wrap, lay the gluten free wrap down on a board. Layer on the lettuce, tomatoes, chicken and then bacon. Drizzle over the dressing.

Wrap: Roll the Green Goddess Wrap tightly. Munch away! You can also take it with you for an on-the-go meal.
Expert tips and tricks
Warm the tortilla: If I’m worried about the wrap cracking, heat them in the microwave for 10-15 seconds, first.
Don’t overfill the Green Goddess Wrap: Don’t overfill it (tempting as it might be to add loads of filling). I like to secure mine with toothpicks if I need to.
Crispy chicken tenders tip: If you’re cooking your tenders in the air fryer, make sure there’s space between them in the basket.
For the best dressing: Aside from using soft, ripe avocado, be sure to scrape down the sides while blending to ensure the herbs and avocado are fully incorporated.
Storage and meal prepping
This Green Goddess Wrap can be made in the morning and eaten on the go for a snack or lunch. Of course, the elements won’t be quite as crispy as they are when eaten fresh. You can also cook the chicken and bacon in advance and keep them in the fridge until ready to eat.
You can make green goddess dressing 2 days ahead and store it in a glass bottle in the refrigerator.
Variations
