WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS GLUTEN-FREE RECIPE
This salmon wrap recipe is made with minimal time and ingredients – it’s so delicious and super simple.
Meal-prep friendly: Cook the salmon ahead of time for a quick and nutritious lunch or dinner on the go.
Light but also filling: A perfect balance of fresh and hearty ingredients that won’t weigh you down.
I also love that this is a low-mess, low-dish kind of recipe. Because you know I hate loads of dishes!

INGREDIENTS AND SUBSTITUTIONS
Gluten-free wrap: Choose a sturdy, flexible gluten-free wrap so its holds together and doesn’t tear. I find warming the wraps a little helps.
Salmon fillet: Fresh or frozen salmon works well. If using frozen, thaw it completely and pat it dry before cooking. When I’m in a pinch for time, I use canned or smoked salmon.
Garlic powder: For extra flavor, substitute it for onion powder, smoked paprika, or a little cayenne in your salmon wrap recipe.
Full-fat cream cheese: This is the creamy base that complements the salmon. For a lighter option, use Greek yogurt, mashed avocado, or dairy-free cream cheese.
Everything bagel seasoning: You can also make your own DIY mix of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onion, garlic, and flaky salt.

DIRECTIONS (STEP BY STEP)
STEP 1
Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil over the fillet and season all sides with kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, and garlic powder.

STEP 2
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned salmon fillet in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C), and the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary based on fillet thickness and air fryer model.
STEP 3
While the salmon cooks, lay the gluten-free wrap flat on a clean plate. Evenly spread the softened cream cheese over the surface, leaving a small border around the edges.

STEP 4
Layer the shredded lettuce over the cream cheese, followed by an even thinly sliced cucumber rounds.

STEP 5
Once cooked, carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer. Use a fork to flake it into bite-sized pieces. At this point, you can keep or throw away the skin.
STEP 6
Spread the flaked salmon evenly over the cucumber slices. Generously sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top.
STEP 7
Fold in the sides of the salmon wrap, then roll it tightly from the bottom. Slice in half diagonally and enjoy straight away! Yum!
EXPERT TIPS & TRICKS
Patting the salmon fillet dry helps seasonings stick and improves texture. A light drizzle of olive oil locks in moisture and brings out the flavor in your salmon wrap.
The salmon should flake easily with a fork or register 145°F (63°C) on a thermometer.

STORAGE AND MEAL PREPPING
Store cooked salmon in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Keep your salmon wrap leftovers unassembled until ready to eat to prevent sogginess.
For longer storage, freeze cooked salmon in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before using.
If you want to reheat it, warm the salmon in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3-4 minutes or in a skillet over low heat. This keeps it moist and prevents overcooking.
