Healthy Tuna Patty Recipe (Gluten free, Dairy free)

Kayla Cappiello
This healthy tuna patty recipe uses with just a few simple ingredients: albacore wild tuna, gluten-free breadcrumbs, an egg, garlic powder, and onion powder. The tuna patty is baked, not fried, making it a healthier option than traditional tuna patties that are deep fried. Because there's no cheese, it's also dairy-free.
Once the patties are cooked, add them to a gluten free bun and top them with your favorite toppings. I like to use avocado, grilled pineapple, arugula and gluten free korean bbq sauce!
This healthy tuna patty is perfect for a quick and easy lunch or dinner. It's also great for parties or bbqs.

Notes

Tuna patties can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. To reheat tuna patties, simply place them in a pan over medium heat and cook for about 5 minutes per side, or until heated through. To store tuna patties, place them in an airtight container and refrigerate.
Tuna patties can also be frozen for up to 3 months. To freeze tuna patties, place them in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze for 1-2 hours. Once the tuna patties are frozen solid, you can transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container. To reheat frozen tuna patties, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight and then cook them according to the package directions.
