Gluten Free and Dairy free Banana Cake

This Gluten Free and Dairy free Banana Cake is a one bowl recipe that only takes about 15 minutes to prepare! It has a light, moist and fluffy texture. Plus, it is the perfect way to use up all the overripe bananas you have laying around...or hoarded in the freezer if you're like me. No banana goes to waste in my house!This Gluten Free and Dairy free Banana Cake is burstng with rich banana flavor. It is finished with a creamy cream cheese frosting. While I have you though, lets get a few things straight though. This Gluten Free and Dairy free Banana Cake is NOT a classic banana bread. I do have a good-for-you banana bread, but this one is a more cake-like dessert. It is light, fluffy, and moist like a cake, but still has the rich banana flavor of a banana bread.

- 2 bananas
- 3/4 cup gluten free flour
- 1/2 cup protein powder or more gluten free flour
- 3 tbsp maple syrup or agave
- 2 tbsp oat milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups Cream cheese or vanilla frosting Dairy free
Add the dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Mix together.
Add the wet ingredients in. Mix together.
Add to parchment lined loaf pan and bake on 350 for 30-35 minutes.
Top with icing.
