- 2 mashed bananas
- 1/2 cup peanut butter or any nut butter
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup dates
- 2-3 tbsp water add more if needed
- 1 cup vegan or dairy free chocolate chips
Mix together the mashed bananas, peanut butter and cocoa powder.
Add the mashed banana mixture to a loaf pan and bake it at 350 for 30-45 minutes. Cool and set aside.
Soak dates in hot water for 15 minutes. Drain the dates and then blend them with water until they reach a caramel consistency.
Let the brownies cool. Once cooled, spread the caramel on top and sprinkle over the chocolate chips.
