Butternut Squash Alfredo Sauce (Vegan, Gluten free)

This Butternut Squash Alfredo Sauce Recipe is made with 3 main ingredients, no cream and is of course completely gluten free! No roasting. No baking. No cutting your own squash!
The Butternut Alfredo sauce is SO simple to make. This butternut squash alfredo sauce uses only one pan, is ready in under 30 minutes and you can save time by making it ahead of time. This sauce is really easy to meal prep in the morning and use during dinner!

Ingredients
  

  • 15 oz Butternut Squash puree 1 can
  • 1 1/2 cups Oat milk
  • 1/2 cup Dairy free Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1/2 Onion Minced
  • 2 tbsp Red pepper flakes
  • Crack black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Add the garlic and onion to a saucepan. Add in 1 tbsp olive oil and cook on medium heat for 7-10 minutes until the garlic is browned and the onion is translucent.
  • Add in the pumpkin purée, milk, and cheese to the saucepan.
  • Mixed together and continue to cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes. This will warm the sauce, melt the cheese and make the sauce come together.
  • Pour over your favorite pasta, use over rice in your favorite casserole or add it on top of your chicken!
