Pull Apart Gouda Bread (gluten free, vegan)

This pull apart gouda bread is warm, cheese and packed with fall flavors! This gouda bread isĀ topped with pumpkin seeds, stuffed with caramelized onions and in-season figs, then drizzled with honey! It is seasoned with cumin and cinnamon and smells absolutely delicious when it's baking.

Ingredients

  • 1 package gluten free buns attached
  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 2 figs
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 3/4 cup vegan gouda
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375.
  • Slice the gluten free rolls in half without separating them. You want to be able to pull them apart after it bakes, so do not pull them apart now.
  • On a cutting board, slice onion into thin strips. Add to medium sized frying pan and cook on medium heat until onions are browned, soft and fully cooked.
  • Add layers of sliced vegan gouda, caramelized onions, figs, pumpkin seeds. Top withcumin + garlic + cinnamon. Drizzle with honey.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for approx 20-25 minutes. Each roll will be different but check that the rolls aren't burn but the cheese is fully melted before removing from oven.
  • Place on a serving plate and pull apart to make individual servings!

Notes

how to serve & store

Serve this gounda bread right out of the oven! I love it hot and melty! Place it onto a cutting board, cut into desired size pieces (large for meals and small for appetizers or sharing!).
You can let it rest for 3-5 minutes if you want more of a room temperature pizza that wont burn your mouth!
